Any football fan knows that to win championships it requires both a good defense and a good offense. If you neglect either one, eventually the other team wins. When it comes to leadership the fastest way you can lose your ministry is through sexual indiscretion. All of us know individuals who are gifted and effective in ministry, but let their guard down sexually and forfeited their ministry and everything they worked for their entire life. If you think it can’t happen to you, you are the greatest danger of all.
This session will focus on building a strong defense and offense in the sexual life of a leader. We will discuss the struggles of how to set up appropriate boundaries in your life with friends and co-workers of the opposite sex and at the same time have men and women work together as equals in Christ. The Scriptures have much to say about how to set up a strong defense against sexual temptation. We will also explore ways to build a strong offense. This ICC session may not only help save your ministry one day, but it may be the catalyst for a more exciting and passionate 2012. Come ready to be challenged and share your ideas of how we can defeat Satan in this critical battlefield. Spouses and all staff and leadership are welcome.
